Foundation Juan Cruzado-Vértice Salud was born from the beginning with the objective of helping elderly people with scarce economic resources, working to improve their quality of life, as well as that of their families and carers.

In 2019 we decided to launch the SME Social Program to exclusively help vulnerable seniors due to the lack of economic resources.

As a general concept SME Social is an initiative that connects two needs that cohabit in today’s society and which, together properly, solve two problems that have two important groups of Spanish society:

On the one hand, the group of especially vulnerable elderly people, who have for various circumstances reached this situation and lack the economic and /or social resources necessary that would significantly improve their quality of life.

On the other hand, the group of SME’s that make up 90% of the Spanish business fabric, and which, in many cases, due to the small size and organizational structure, do not usually find the right time and formula to effectively exercise their Social Responsibility that they would like to have, because it is an indisputable fact that current clients when choosing a certain company of products or services are inclined towards those companies socially responsible.

With SME Social, we want to:

Locate, evaluate and value vulnerable seniors that have an urgent need for socio-health services

Locate SME’s willing to collaborate with a small quantity of their benefits to sponsor an elderly person with the needs of a particular social health service and who has no financial resources to do so.

Guarantee the quality of service that is going to be carried out, either with the Foundations staff or with external staff, who will be previously valued.

Regularly inform the people represented by SME’s of the evolution of sponsorship and of the specific services being received by the elderly person to which they are sponsoring.

Return to SME’s the values of the amounts contributed, through tax, image and reputational benefits to their stakeholders (clients, suppliers, human team, environment etc.)

The company that decides to sponsor an elderly person and allocate resources to the direct care of a specific person can choose between different socio-health services that the Foundation offers, as well as different amounts of collaboration.

If you feel identified with this social need from your company and you want to help through this program, ask for information on how to join in it, and the benefits of belonging to Social SME’s. Get in touch with us and we can talk. Elderly people need you!
