VIDA SENIOR AWARDS
The legal bases will be required by the organization. The RULES governing the organization and granting the Awards will be as follows:
VIDA SENIOR Award for Active Aging:
This Award recognizes a person over 65 years old who stands out for his/her prolonged active life, as well as for the impact of his/ her activity in improving people’s life from a professional, social, cultural, sports, etc. point of view.
VIDA SENIOR Caregiver-10 Award
This Award recognizes a person for his/her long career as an Elderly caregiver who stood out for the ways and means of caring for the Elderly.
VIDA SENIOR Award for Social Research
It recognizes the person or Institutions who stands out in the research and the good results obtained in aspects related to Active Aging and/or age-related disease.
VIDA SENIOR Award for Social Institution
This Award recognizes the Non-Profit institution, private or public who stands out for a long period of time for its work mainly in favor of the improvement to the life quality of the Elderly.
VIDA SENIOR Award for Social Innovation
This Award recognizes the professional, company or institution that has stood out for innovation with beneficial products or services to the Elderly.
VIDA SENIOR Award to the Social SME
This award recognizes small or medium-sized companies that stand out for their long-standing Corporate Social Responsibility actions in favor of the elderly and/or Active Aging.
AWARDS
The prize will consist of an honorable mention in the form of a diploma and a design award.
Requirements for the candidates:
Candidates must be individuals or legal entities with a long career record in favor of improving Elderly quality of life. They must be able to prove it through their work or professional activity.
Candidatures presentation
Nominations must be proposed to the Foundation by a third person or entity with a summary of the merits of the person or entity which is indicated according to the form attached to the rules.
Individuals or legal entities that opt for the award in any of the categories may attach the documentation that they consider appropriate to prove their merits.
The deadline for the submission of nominations is August 31, 2021.
The form must be requested and sent in digital format to the address fundacion@verticesalud.org indicating «VIDA SENIOR AWARDS» in the subject line..
Jury
The jury will be consisted of the board of trustees of the Juan Cruzado-Vértice Salud Foundation, which may be advised by experts in each of the categories. The selection of the winners will be based on strictly professional criteria according to the merits and impact of the actions carried out on the lives of the Elderly.
The awards in the different categories may be declared void for the lack of merit according to the jury decision.
The jury’s conclusion will be the final result and it cannot be revoked. The candidates fully accept the contents of these rules and expressly waive any type of judicial or extrajudicial action for the jury’s decision.
Award Ceremony
The award will be presented at the headquarters of the Juan Cruzado-Vértice Salud Foundation located at 7, Paganini Street in Málaga during the celebration of the International Day of Elderly.
The individuals or legal entities that have been chosen will be informed in advance.
The winning individuals or legal entities may publicize this condition in any internal or external document they consider appropriate.
